Receiving Center | Wasatch Behavioral Health is a 24/7 crisis stabilization facility in Provo, Utah, dedicated to providing immediate, short-term support for adults (18+) experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. The center offers a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals can receive evaluation, support, and connection to ongoing care—often diverting people from emergency rooms or jail. The center is part of Wasatch Behavioral Health, Utah’s first community mental health center, serving Utah and Wasatch Counties since 1967

Data shows that the majority of clients are stabilized and discharged home without needing a higher level of care, reflecting the center’s effectiveness in diverting individuals from ERs and jails and connecting them to appropriate follow-up services
